Wootzano has resumed operations following a decision by the Court of Session in Edinburgh, allowing the company to recommence operations, fulfil customer orders and move forward into its next phase.

For a short period, Wootzano will be under the supervision of the court-appointed Interim Manager and the new Company Director, Anthony Pollock BSc(Econ) FCA, who are jointly responsible for supervising the company's return to trading.

This is a significant step forward for the business and for our customers and we are now moving ahead.

What happened?

In November 2025, Wootzano entered liquidation following action taken by one of its lenders. Following a review of the company’s position and its future trading prospects, the Court of Session has now granted permission for the business to resume trading.

During this process, the underlying strength of the business remained clear. Independent reports recognised there was continued demand for Wootzano’s technology across multiple international markets and concluded that returning the business to trading offered the best outcome for creditors.

The decision to allow Wootzano to return to trading is an exceptionally rare outcome in UK insolvency proceedings, reflecting confidence in the viability of the business and the interests of creditors.

Our focus now is delivery.

What this means for our customers

  • Trading has resumed

  • Deliveries are recommencing, with priority given to existing orders

  • New customer orders are being accepted

  • Our team is contacting customers directly to confirm next steps where needed

We recognise that the past few months have been uncertain. We appreciate the patience and support shown by our customers during this time.

Looking ahead

We have taken steps to ensure the business moves forward on a stable footing, including bringing in experienced financial, legal and business advisors to support this next phase.

Wootzano continues to work with customers across multiple international markets, with projects and contracted agreements spanning the UK, Europe, Asia, North America and Australia.

We are now focused on doing what we do best - delivering the innovative robotics packing systems our customers rely on.
